beyond ordinary things
traveled place: Villareal and Talalora, Samar
in this trip, i tried to observe the quote by Morley Baer, “Quit trying to find beautiful objects to photograph. Find the ordinary objects so you can transform it by photographing it.”
Almost always, if we go to someplace, we look for exciting or beautiful scenes in order to get ‘great shots’. but how about if the place offers nothing of your expectation? The challenge is, take everyday objects or ordinary scenes and transform them into something special… and along the way, it will allow us to see ‘ordinary’ things in a new different way.
some of my attempts…
maqueda bay at low tide
domesticated raptors
probably the oldest church document in the entire calbayog diocese
from the bulk of old books…
an antique metal chest
fallen leaves…
port of talalora
stone wall

Hi Nelson. I am interested to see your photographs on Calbayog. Do you have more than what is posted in your site? Are you Manila based? Please let me know. We would like to meet with you.

Hi Yayot. thanks for dropping by as well as showing interest on calbayog photographs. got stock photos and few were already published in Calbayog Coffee Table book. Am based in catbalogan but oftentimes travel to calbayog for assignments and of course paying visit to relatives and friends.
